The awkward moment when theres a hairbrush in your mx5... and its yours because you decided to have long hair... dishonor on my family š

Also came across this beauty from Germany, with a reg number perhaps to rival mine! Also those wheels are 17s! Gulp. They looked sweet in person though, some form of borbets

Long hair brother! The struggle is real. People don't tend to make the hairdresser joke though as it is clear I do not attend one. I do enjoy how clean your car is!

Not to worry, my step-mum was a hairdresser. She used to drive a Supra, I feel insignificant lol
Haha thanks man, it's only a quick rattle can job but I like it.

So i splashed out on mobil1 0w 40 fully synth after much consideration NO MORE HLA RATTLE ON STARTUP HALLELUJAH PRAISE JEBUS Need to spray the head cover when I get a chance, dont know if its a bit silly but I was thinking of doing it in the same red colour as the nissan RB engines, any thoughts? that or satin grey š

Started on cleaning ready for the retrorides gathering this sunday, did the bootlid a polish to test what pad/product combo i'll use to spruce the whole thing up with the least amount of effort possible Clutch release bearing is being noisy again, it flared up about 6 months ago then suddenly vanished, hoping it does the same again soon, not got the money for a new clutch this month! It could do with a fresh clutch at some point when funds allow, so hoping it hangs on! Some pics from this evening seeing as the weather was nice IMG_3849 by JackMorris205, on Flickr IMG_3856 by JackMorris205, on Flickr That may be my favourite shot of the 5 so far IMG_3859 by JackMorris205, on Flickr

Also, I took the reg plate off when i cleaned earlier, and thanks to the wonders of lightroom, managed to edit out the ghastly holes in the bumper to give an idea what a smooth bumper would look like.... IMG_3816 by JackMorris205, on Flickr ME LIKEY. Will get it smoothed one day...I also edited out the badge to see what it would look like, not sure which I'd prefer! Gad dayum! It looks so clean dude! Normally I'm not a fan of smooth bumpers but yours looks so good with no badge or plate. Gah, I'm jealous of how clean it is...

Its just a quick photoshop to see if i would like it, it would need a bodyshop visit to smooth it properly and respray, maybe one day hahaha

Well, it really has been a while since i've updated this.... Sad to say that really its down to the simple fact that not much has changed! I think the only significant modification was the addition of new discs and ebc yellowstuff pads all around! Got through its MOT with some last minute welding to the sills, sadly this was a worryingly cheap job that most certainly will need to be revisited before next year! new tyres were also needed, apparently I like to burn up sets like theres no tomorrow... Bridgestone stopped doing the potenza re002 in 15s, so I ended plumping for toyo t1r as the budget wasnt really there for anything else. Dont know about anyone else but I really don't rate them in comparison with the bridgestones, they're not terrible and do let you slide about when needed, but they just feel a bit lifeless, and I feel like i can't push on them as much. Asides from that nothing exciting, just been enjoying it! I must admit I've been spending a lot of time on this road, given its like half an hour away... (those that know it, you know. ) IMG_5074 by JackMorris205, on Flickr More mods will be coming soon hopefully, just finishing my Masters and got a little bit more dollar now so fingers crossed I'll be updating this again soon as I've got more time as well. I've put my name down to have hoodedreeper's HSD coilies when he breaks his car in September, and i'm currently thinking of getting new wheels as well, very much torn between something like TD pro race 1.2, for a more function over form factor, or something heavier and more aesthetic for style points (because lets face it I doubt i'll be on track THAT much). Any suggestions on wheels is always appreciated, I just can't make my mind up! Also i'm trying to really do something with my camera, the photography bug has bit me hard the past couple years since i've had a dslr and i'm thinking of putting a website together or something, just as a hobby and see if i can develop into something more one day maybe... So I shall leave my brief boring update there and leave you with some drift photos from Japfest! Update! Got some new wheels! I really wasnt sure on these when i bought them, but they were cheap and came with R888s with plenty of meat I actually really like them in white, they're a bit heavy bit they'll be great as daily wheels, I'll be tsking the tyres off soon, don't intend on using/wasting them on the road haha Just need coilovers which should be sometime in September and it'll start to look the part
