wow.
non-car related update.
but photobucket has gone and lost their marbles and is now asking to upgrade accounts so RIP my 3rd part image hosting.
might have to get to work on completing my transfer to flickr and go from there but this is rather annoying.
seems to be a worldwide thing as well. plenty of threads on reddit etc. about the same thing.
So yeah, RIP Photobucket, you were crap, but you worked for a while until some front canoe decided they wanted $400p/a - I sht you not, $400 per year (more than Lightroom / Photoshop subscription!??!?!)
Anyways, some car related updates soon. Some good, more bad. Lol this car tho.

I signed up for a blogspot account, can host images on there just fine. Photobucket probably just lost most of their user base.

Back on track.
Haven't really got any updates / pictures of things that have changed.
The only thing that had changed is the exhaust from the incognito cobalt thingy, to a single exit Borla exhaust. It's so so SO damn good. Civilised when pootling around town, and it gets louder the more you push the pedal, screaming all the way to the limiter. Also, pop bang crackle. Once the Megasquirt is in, oh man the noises will be filthy! It's actually perfect. It's now my new "go-to" exhaust.
The tip looks a bit wack, but it's fiiiiiine. Will get pics soon.
Anyways, main reason for this post is that I've now accumulated quite a few parts to fit and I should probably make a list so I can prioritise and have a checklist of what needs to / has been done. So. Here is my list of things to do for the silver Roadster, in no particular order:
- Fit MK1 Dash, centre console, tombstone
- Fit undertray
- Fit new Sony MEX-N4100BT head unit and speakers - Heavy metal tunes FINALLY.
- Replace coilpack
- Change oil and filter (!!!)
- Replace borrowed alternator with my "new" alternator"
- Cut and weld in replacement outer sill panel driver side.
- Re-treat and re-zinc primer both sill / arch areas, apply stonechip and paint over. Enjoy peace of mind.
- Care and attention to sill drain holes - they made need re-boring and rust proofing.
- Install cams and change cambelt to Gates Racing belt, also install new cam cover gasket and clean up the oily block a little
- Cry
- Cry some more
- Purchase PLX AFR / Wideband sensor & gauge
Once I'm happy that the car is running 100%, I'll then be happy to fit my Megasquirt PNP and get a safe road tune on. By safe I mean BANG BANG FLAMES LAUNCH CONTROL SPARKCUT LIMITER AHAHAHAHAHA.
So, now that I have a list I'll be forced to work through it because having an unfinished list is literally THE worst thing evarrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
My camera skill are also getting very rusty as well, so I think I'll have to get it out and start snapping my car. I don't have many nice pics of it so I should really get out and sort my prarrie canoe out tbh!
