Hi,yes a 13amp supply should be fine for the job, have a look on the UKwelder forum here, www.ukwelder.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t4019.htmlIt would be best if you could find someone local to lend/help you with the welding or you will be looking at hiring (expensive for a little job) or buying outright your own kit, will work out cheaper in the end.i bought a nearly new Clarke 130 amp gasless MIG with some pre fluxed wire for £100,it doesn`t get used much but is here if i ever do need to fry some metal up. Saying that,i did all the boot floor on one of my old Discoverys and most of the welding on my 5 without spending anything more than initial cost. IMPORTANT NOTE It is always best to have a fire watcher when welding. Have a peek round the welding forum for info and maybe local garages / handy man type dudes local papers etc to see if you can get it done for cheap, maybe? You may just be able to bash it straight enough, but that is a bit "cowboy" as mentioned previously on the thread.

I think I've come to the decision that I'm not going to be able to save this. Not because it's not save able but more because I haven't got the time for it or probably the skill.
This makes me feel bad about the bonnet! I can still pick it up Horney but I'm not sure what I'll do with it now as I'm thinking of breaking it.

It`s a bit of a shame, even dinged,it still looks in loads better condition than mine You could grab the bonnet and stick the whole thing up for sale in trades, someone might repair it or break it if you can be bothered. But no,i don`t mind at all, glad you got lucky with another one

I have thought about sticking it up for sale as is but not sure if anyone would be interested as it would come on stock suspension and wheels.
I can't thank you both enough for the effort you've gone to. Also boringgit if you want your headlight casing back I can send it back to you along with the sidelight. I don't want anyone to feel like I'm taking advantage.
Again thanks for everyone's kindness and time, means a lot but unfortunately I just haven't got the time to make it right again.
