I second this, but has to be in the rx! Lol I was in Bournemouth last weekend and back again 16th December. I'm probably out in Bournemouth more than you guys are even went to wiggle good luck getting in the back of the rex if you're lucky enough to possess legs! I am willing to sacrifice my legs to go in the rex! hahaha

So another weekend spent at the Skuzzle workshop, firstly a thank you and beer tokens to both Nicks (Horney and Skuzzle) without both of you I'd probably still be there now! Ordered a FM level 2 clutch a few weeks back and today was the day it went in. First impressions are WOW what a clutch! It's ridiculously hard and from disengaged to fully engaged is about 10mm, it'll take some getting used to! If you're looking at buying a FM clutch and you can get away with the level 1 I'd highly reccomend it. The level 1 is good until a certain amount of horses and then the level 2 is needed. One upside to doing 100 miles a day is it'll only be a week until I can give it some abuse I'll need to speak to Skuzzle and see when I can get it booked in for some more dyno time, keeping my fingers crossed for 270whp. Some bad news: found a little oil leak, doesn't look too severe but obviously I'll need to get it sorted before turning up the boost. Finally; good to see Roger again, it's been a while, I need to get my ass to more meets in future and see the extended famalam

A good few weeks since the FM2 clutch went in, not gonna lie; still getting used to it it is however epic, flyin' miata even state it's stronger than the gearbox so very confident and one of my favourite purchases to date. We (Skuzzle really, I watched) fixed the oil leak, turned out to be one of the cam seals. All now oil tight and happy. Another week or so then went by and onto the dyno to finally see what this setup can handle... So without further adiew; Fantastically disappointing whp but torque is up and that's what you really notice anyway, power drops off unfortunately but with a stiffer spring in the actuator or a tubular manifold we may be able to see more (but probably not huge amounts). But.... if I'm going for a tubular manifold (I am) then it makes more sense to just stick the bigger turbo in.... Next step is therefore to get the 7 roadworthy, use that as my daily and hand the 5 over to Nick and Marc to custom make me a manifold and downpipe (probably with some help from Martin at Blackcat) and see what we can achieve before something goes bang. Here's to hoping for 300-350whp and full boost by 4K rpm. Gulp

And yes that's 229whp to 230.4whp lol but 200 torques to 225. Extra 25 makes a huge difference, I've been wheelspinning in 5th at 80mph. Pretty hairy! another pic of the big turbo (one on the right) to cheer myself up

Nothing too bad, a day off work and a new clutch slave cylinder and it should be good (just being fitted now)

Very impressed with this build. Thinking of changing from supercharged to turbocharged next winter.

Very impressed with this build. Thinking of changing from supercharged to turbocharged next winter. Thanks very much, it's not been cheap but it's been fun. If I could do it all again I'd go straight to a forged build and mega turbo. Give me a shout if you want a big turbo, my Borg Warner is up for sale at the moment, good for 700bhp!

The rush to get everything sorted for spring action day is now on. Plus a new numberplate is on route... many excites! I've booked Every weekend in May to get the 7 roadworthy for retro rides. Game on!
