I'm always surprised just how clean this car is everywhere, credit to the previous owner really

that butterfly brace looks loverly. I do love it, FM do have some very nice products, shame it's not cheap to get them delivered or I'd buy most of their catalogue!!

Erm so yeah.... one step forwards and many steps back, seems the idle control valve, fuel pump and CAS may be Canoeed... good thing I don't have 3 track sessions booked next weekend... oh wait...
Good news though; before it broke (again) Nick managed to map it to 198whp at actuator pressure, the last engine made 180ish so pretty pleased with that.
Suppose I'll start saving up for a full racing loom... they're only £3k

So fess up, who's is the MGF at skuzzles?? If it's the one I'm thinking of then I think you will find it is actually Nicks (Skuzzles).

I thought they were renowned for HG failures(?) which was a shame as they're pretty cars. Sounds fun on throttle bodies though!
Love your plate, BTW

Love your plate, BTW Cheers dude, hopefully it'll be ready for next weekend. Are you going too? the MG was bought with a failed HG, it's been replaced so good for another 1 maybe 2 miles

Picked up the car today, it's so nice to get back into it, just need to sort out the harnesses as they're a bit loose. Bring on spring action day, booked in for 11am, 12:45 & 2pm sessions!
Pics and new dyno print when I can get t cleaned.
So new engine is in, new exhaust hangers on, new £20 soft top is on, interior is stripped, it's been mapped to a slightly more sensible power (2whp less). Let's just hope it gets me round spring action day and the NC500 in June/July
