Thanks, it managed to get through!
Although initially it did fail on hazards not working until i pressed the button on the dash and they did....lol
Interestingly, whereas in previous years hyperblink would be a fail, they are now an advisory under "you must fix this ASAP but it's not a fail" type thing that the new rules have brought in
Eventually I will sort out getting a resistor in the flasher relay
Now roll on 5fest and hopefully camera footage of much track based glory

One has failed., Would have failed test under old regs. Is now a minor fault, even though only one lamp will not illuminate the whole plate. I'd think that technically the old bill could/would still pull you over if they can't read the whole plate. The other option is to replace the old flasher relay with an electronic flasher relay. They don't care about the load, so will blink at the same rate (often adjustable) irrespective of how many LED/filament lamps you have.

I can see that being a case of "no it didn't fail the MOT, but that doesn't necessarily make it legal"
Do you know of any relays I should look to get? I will start having a general search. Sounds like a good idea, not one I would have thought of!

OK so it's been too long so let's add some CONTENT Starts off with 5fest. Had an awesome time, car performed well apart form the brakes which decided to turn into a really long pedal. They still stopped very well, mind you, so now i need to put money aside to refurb the calipers and replace the lines ready for next year! Onto the visual content...although sadly no in car videos because i'm stupid and forgot to bring my SD card for the dash cam ah well First up I had to fish out the trackday wheels from the shed...standard MK2 5 spokes with Toyo R888 in GG compound to go on Bambi, then E30 BBS with Nankang NS2Rs for mine We left on Friday mid-day, but thanks to the state of the road network we got to our Airbnb around 7pm. But it was SO worth the wait. Just check it out. There were meant to be a few of us staying, but sadly the others dropped out so it ended up being just myself and Megan in this awesome house which we're totally booking again. IT CAME WITH A DOGGO LOOK Just look at dis goodboi go SO then we did a trackday with all you other guys and i forgot to take any pics so here's me and Megan parked up next to the track inbetween the Corns Roadster and Rotrexmx5's mk2 *if only i'd taken my SD card because this bit would be where the videos including Marc Ains doing an epic skid in his Suzuki* Anyway, here's a shot of my car before we left on Sunday to catch up with the Brecon Run peoples Then we got to Honey Cafe first after a bit of a Brecon Run of our own, making sure we baggsied a table for everyone So then we went home, at which point i discovered i had a misfire and ZERO powaas Got home and parked the car up, then didn't try starting it again until last weekend when i wanted to wash it. But it refused to start. Many turning over occurred but no firing This meant I needed some expert diagnosis OK FINE JUST LEAVE WITHOUT HELPING. GOSH Luckily though, after i spent the weekdays this week removing the coilpack and checking those and the leads with a multimeter and they apparently coming out as fine when i check against Ohms values on google, it decided to start after i fitted new spark plugs OBVIOUSLY So then i decided to swap back to my "daily" wheels, with my work being checked thoroughly from above Coming up next time i remember to make a post. Maybe. JAE Attempts to make it run properly Maya the snuggle cat investigating the car

Brief update this time... Some of you may know what this is: Basically it allows glorious ITB BWAAAAAAAAAAing to occur by fixing the ITBs to one end and your engine to the other link to awesomenessAnd it came with AE111 bodies and Toyota manifold from Mr Boss Man who in turn had got it off Vindi So why is this relevant?Earlier this week I received a PM out of the blue from a nice chap in America, who wanted to know if the adapter was for sale as he has a BP4W (early mk2) head that is bereft of such an item It also turned out that he was up for purchasing 2 of these. Which is fortunate as JoshO also happens to have the same set up i do, but is planning something super amaze awesome instead of using the TTT adapter Cue Thursday and having negotiated the UPS website, a lovely cardboard box full of awesome metal is on its way (back...as TTT are a US company) to America Back to trying to save up for the next phase then

Small bit of work done yesterday Took the driver's seat out (Corbeau Sprint) to re-test-fit my somewhat well loved rx7 drivers seat Also here's a video of the TOTALLY AWESOME tilt and slide on the passenger side (only - if you're getting in the back of an FC looks like the driver doesn't have to get up) Unfortunately it only fits because someone messed with the rx7 rails such that the bits you put bolts through flap around somewhat SO SAFE. But a bit of welding should see it right. Just not in my car. If I was JDM sized the seats would be perfect but unfortunately I end up sitting too high in them Anyway, I took the opportunity to fit the Sabelt harness I was given by JoshO earlier in the year Luckily, having never fitted a harness before, Josh was on hand via WhatsApp with very helpful advice S'all good now. Ready for 5fest next year

Drove the thing for the first of 3 weekends where I'm actually going to use it Forgot I hadn't tightened up the coilpack bolts, but was reminded when I heard some metal clattering in the engine bay as I set off Then today picked up some new axle stands on offer from ECP. Been wanting lower ones for ages as my current ones are like skyscrapers and take a lot of effort to get the car high enough to sit on top of Here's a picture for content's sake
