I've been offered a straight swap for my 15x7 et20 Rota Grids, for some 15x8 et0 Ultralite UL48. Looking at the weights they are pretty much the same, I'd be using 195/50/15 tyres, arches rolled by a previous owner.

I love the amount of dish and would ideally move to a 205 tyre in the long run.

I've had 14's on the 5 and it's never particularly rode well, I blame the HSDs that are fitted.

Just to answer my original question, for a number of reasons I ended up getting some Rota RBs in 15x7 (I forget the offset for now, but nothing too mad) and it made a huge difference to how the car handled. One of the best things I've done to it was to move away from 8" wide wheels.
