Booked Prescott 19th June just in case Gurston doesn’t go ahead.

Hi Lowender, VSCC have just opened up for entries. I have got mine in for the Austin 7. Turns out it's the 500 club event the day before on the Saturday we're entered for.

I have never done the 500 OC. event. Have fun, I will be there early Sunday morning with the Austin for VSCC.
I have just got my entry in for both days of the Plymouth Motorclub Werrington Hillclimb for the Mazda.

I have never done the 500 OC event. Have fun, I will be there early Sunday morning with the Austin for VSCC. I did the 500 club event in 2018 in my old Subaru wagon (47.42s) and won my class, then did the VSCC event the next day in Dad's J2 (68.65s) and came 3rd from last in class!

I heard last night that the Goodwood sprint I entered for 17 April is oversubscribed so I'm only on the reserve list and will probably look for something else in April instead

Your dads J2 should get up Wiscombe quicker than that get a bigger right boot. Plymouth Motorclub Werrington entries closed in less than 24 Hours, it was so popular the entry site crashed. I will have to wait and see if my entry is accepted. I will re Tax the ITB car next month and get it back on the rolling road as I have made a few changes.

I have done 67.91 in the All Powerfull Austin 7 ! I have a feeling the car is running better at the moment. Only Time will tell. My entry has been confirmed for Werrington in the Eunos on both days, a rolling road mapping session has been booked for next month. I have confirmed entry for both VSCC Wiscombe and Prescott with the Austin 7
There are a few other Mx5s entered for Werrington so should be fun event pitting turbos and ITBs in the same class.
Whoopee I will now have to find a couple of other events to enter.

The class structure for my local events in the south east goes up to 1600 cc so it's perfect for my N/A NA6. The south west clubs seem to go up to 1800 cc, and the midlands to 2000 cc, so I don't have much chance of beating too many in those events.

Hi Boggissimo, ITBs are not classed as forced induction so remains at original capacity I am just shy of 170 BHP though. My class is 1800 to 2300 cc at least the four wheel drive boys have got a new class so I am no longer against them. But a 1600 with turbo or supercharger moves into my class. Its the local class structure that is making me think about a de stroked 1840 to drop into the next class down ( not that I am a good enough driver to benefit ) But more of a mechanical challenge in sillyness. I am already ordering / collecting parts for a forged engine build.

Well, that’s knackered the start of my season, Abingdon & both Gurstons are cancelled plus I didn’t get into Wiscombe. 🤬

Seems impossible to get an entry for anything! Keeping my fingers crossed for a sprint at Hethel end of April, and Debden early May - both with the same club (HCAAC), not open for entries yet
