Hi all,
Rather than create a new thread for each event, I thought it might be nice to make one big thread to list any events Mighty5ers are doing and post results, videos, disasters and successes. We might even get together at a few!

My first event will be the Regis Sprint at Goodwood on 17 April, run by Bognor Regis MC. I'll be in class A3 (road-going series production up to 1600cc - and not 'Standard Cars' as mine is pre-2000).
Anyone else entering?

Events probably won't start in Scotland till June  I'll hopefully get plenty rounds in once we're allowed out though. Maybe next year I'll get a trailer and make the journey down south, I think a few from our club will be heading to Harewood again. |

Plymouth Motor Club Werrington Park Hillclimb on the May bank holiday weekend.
I have a choice of three cars to enter !!!
I expect I will try the ITB Miata, I might run the stock RS on the Saturday then the ITB car on the Sunday just to so how much quicker the ITB one is.
I will be at Wiscombe the weekend after with the third Hillclimb car A 1934 Austine Seven Sports.

Plymouth Motor Club Werrington Park Hillclimb on the May bank holiday weekend. I have a choice of three cars to enter !!! I expect I will try the ITB Miata, I might run the stock RS on the Saturday then the ITB car on the Sunday just to so how much quicker the ITB one is. I will be at Wiscombe the weekend after with the third Hillclimb car A 1934 Austine Seven Sports.
Should be interesting to compare the two 5s (as long as the weather is constant)! Don't think Dad will be out in the J2 for a while yet, he usually does the May VSCC Wiscombe though I'm trying to persuade him to do some events in the summer when everyone's been vaccinated.

We've had an invitation to enter the May VSCC event at Wiscombe in one of the Bucklers. Either the V8 DD2 or the 1172 Backbone, not decided yet.  |

It will be good to see you on the hill.
I suspect the 1172 will be more balanced on the hill.
The V8 would come into its own between Sawbench and Martini though, could be interesting over Bunnys Leap and after the gate !!!!

We've done Wiscombe a few times in the V8, it's a bit of a handful there, difficult to get the power down. It suits Prescott and Shelsley much better. The 1172 is a new restoration, we've only run it once, at Prescott end of 2019, but it's super light, handles great and has potential. Depends on which one we can get ready in time.  |
