Did my last event of the season at Castle Combe yesterday. Unfortunately Camp corner was missed off for some reason but it made the event flow quicker as there was no waiting for the batches of cars to return.
Had a real battle with my mate in his Griffith 500 & eventually lost out by 0.7 sec but great banter. My previous best was 72.10 with the SC & with the turbo managed to improve by 3.30 secs to 68.80, ended up 2nd out of 17 in the Classic Marques competition.

That is a superb time mate you were right in the mix of the top times in A3 too, just a tenth off, well done. what power is the turbo at 260?
They were doing Canoe Mayo layout since Covid which is a shame.

They were doing Canoe Mayo layout since Covid which is a shame. Hello Sandy, it made 237fly at NMS & not changed anything since. Those A052s are amazing, can really lean on them hard. |

I'm there, but no longer have a Mazda. Will be my first event not after selling the MX5 and buying a single seater

excellent, what number are you ? it will be a very different experience in a single seater Number 26, had a brief test at Curborough last week so it will definitely be completely different. Good number of entries in the Mx5 class! |
