Can the pop up assemblies be adjusted/rotated at all? there should be an ammount of clearance in their boltholes but if you need more then be brave! either file / drill the boltholes for extra clearance or get medeval & actually bend / twist the mount-frames remember, less is more (or, gently gently, catchy monkey ) Rich.

Shall give it a go then thanks, may have to get a little creative.

If you refer to the head lamp covers, if you remove the plastic covers there are adjustments available via slots around the mounting screws. Final adjustments with gentle tweaking.

Drove it through a f-ing blizzard with the roof down LOL I could see the dark clouds on the horizon, cars coming the other way had their headlights on so I knew it might get interesting... ... but what I didn't expect was wipers on full but failing to clear heavy, sticky snow, and every single car having their front number plates obscured within the 10 minutes it took to drive through it! I'm glad I had stopped and put a jacket on about 15 minutes before that point lol

moved both Eunos's... the silver thing has half of the wiring stripped out so startermotor abuse & Optima yellowtop battery to the rescue white '90 started then stalled.... moved on the startermotor with Optima assistance Rich. Good luck trying that with seemingly anything built in the last decade - all this 'electronics' is just used to stop you actually doing anything 'wrong' that might save you in some way, such as refusing to turn over when you just want to get the damn thing up and onto the verge and out of the carriageway! Honestly - I turn the key, I expect the engine to turn over. I don't expect it to think about it for 2 seconds before finally deeming I'm worthy enough for it to fire into life.

Fitted vented polycarbonate 1/4 window on drivers side & mocked up the new Bikini roof.
Both jobs that should have been nice and easy, but turned out to be headaches 😅

I too went out for a drive yesterday - and celebrated this by cleaning it again today!
I do find now that with the ARC Chamber and Blitz induction, mixed with the stainless exhaust, people seem to hear it coming now LOL!

Trying to renew the insurance on the 5 but nowhere can quote online, so I'll need to call.
Previously had Footman James, was going to try Lancaster, any others to try?

MOT passed - clean bill of health, not bad for a 24 year old car Only 283 miles since last years ticket - no wonder the brakes were sticking. Spent the Easter break out in the street replacing the stuck caliper. The reman caliper had the slider pins the wrong way round, but luckily I had a matching bracket mount from one of my scrap yard expeditions so the weekend was saved from being a write off. To celebrate my good fortune I decided to pull the new disks and pads out of stock and get them fitted as well. Oh and all the locks work thanks to a squirt of silicone spray as per the other thread - now key goes in - lock turns - key comes out. First outing of the year in a couple of weeks at the Oxford Autosolo, and (touching wood) I think I'm all sorted and ready to go!

Mine is with Performance Direct, though it actually comes from Markerstudy. I'm paying ~£100pa Most places seem to use Markerstudy or another one that escapes me now, who were brought under the LV umbrella (which I hope resolves their appalling previous ratings). I look at it as I'm unlikely to claim if I crash myself so hopefully I won't have to endure their potentially crap customer service, only the person who may be trying to claim off me? lol Try Greenlight as well, although they are just another broker who uses the same insurers. APlan might be alright too. Avoid Adrian Flux IME - appalling record of getting things wrong.
