That is awesome! Got a link? No problem, this is where I got it....... HERE!Awesome, thank you! I like the look of the ball knobs but I find them a bit bulky - I quite like the teeny-tiny OEM (I presume?) gearknob so I might drop the chap a line to see if he does custom work EDIT: Looks like he does - and I'm quite impressed by the results, even if they are (I suppose) relatively simple in terms of materials manipulation!

looked at it getting drenched with rain ... decided it needed more sound volume and bought a alpine KTP445 power pack so working from home with the MX5 staring at me through the window. Decided to mockup the installation of the amp. What a difference! I didn't think it would be so obvious. Yes the sound can get louder, and in fact is louder at the same volume number, but the sound is so much "fuller". More bass and less "metalic" and this without changing any parameters. Now just got to do a proper install

well this whole covid situation as not been good but has enabled some creativity. My son made me up a logo using the Miata font, sort a play on words as our name starts with a M. So he made a logo " M'ed ". real cool. I'll eventually post a pic, but for the moment I can't get the lighting right, black on BRG doesn't show very well. My daughter has been getting a lot of time off from Uni so started doing cross stich, putting little pictures on T's for friends and so on and then put the M'ed logo on my head cover. I can't wait for winter I love it

Picked up a set of black IL bonnet lifters from ebay for 10 quid, been running without a bonnet prop for long enough to be fed up not having one so thought why not!

Nighttime navigational rally season is with us again (hoorah!) so I've fitted the 8mm suspension raising aluminium spacers I got from Jass a few weeks back. Should help avoid bottoming out on the bumpy lanes! I had to unbolt the bottoms of the coilovers to be able to slip the spacers over the top adjuster, but for the fronts I could do that by just pushing the suspension down with my foot while fiddling the spacer on with my hands. At the rear I had to unbolt the droplink to get enough room to take the coilovers right off, but it still didn't take very long.
I'm picking up some refurbed control arms with polybushes and new ARBs/droplinks next weekend, which should tighten things up quite a bit. There are some other very tired looking suspension bushes on the car which I'll work my way through over the winter.

Nighttime navigational rally season is with us again (hoorah!) I've recently found photo's from the last roadrally (navigational ) I drove, 2001 www.mandhphotography.co.uk/p502172570/ee9310996was a 'how-to' NOT get around a hairpin left next photo was after I'd reversed out of the hedge and people ask me why I stopped driving and continued navigating Rich.

Gaffatape & cableties, standard rallycar toolkit actually it lost the headlamp a few miles later - was seen dangling & illuminating the road a few miles later at another spectator-point (video) and at the 'halfway' petrol halt I was given the option of retirement by scrutineers if I couldn't 'find' another headlight / sort some sharp edges so 'borrowed' a headlamp from another competitor who had retired otherwise it was a 'clean' run without fails, iirc finished 18th as time lost - most following the early incident and a wheel full of mud www.mandhphotography.co.uk/p502172570/ee931099bRich.

Gaffatape & cableties, standard rallycar toolkit 'A friend' might have had to break out the zip-ties and zip-tie his fog light onto the mounting the other weekend after reversing up to a kerb and snapping it off...
