Was out over the weekend doing the 'Tour of Kent' with one of the local car clubs, and about 50 classic cars. My son was navigating for the first time (tulips) and did a great job.

Yeah, used an app on my phone (imaginatively called 'Rally Tripmeter'), worked really well and was on a free trial. They gave us a marked map too but it was simple enough with the tulips.

I've never thought of phone / gps, just oldschool tripmeters or guesswork is all I've ever had had this in the shed for years, will use it in the 5 as the Stack speedometer has a vss output and will get it's trigger reference from a front wheel so hopefully accurate Rich.

Came close to going turbo, but the guy wanted far too much for the parts I wanted. So sticking with supercharger. Watched a lot of td04 videos on YouTube and everything... Then watched supercharger videos.

Started swapping over the control arms with some I picked up that already have powerflex bushes installed. Managed to get most of one rear lower arm in, with a lot of grunting and swearing. Looking forward to the other three corners!

Looking at it, budget and timeframe all point to sticking with the S/C, but I'd be interested to hear your feedback on moving from S/C to T/C? Probably a bit more thinking needed, I'll list the S/C kit and see how quickly that shifts if at all.

Appreciate the input, unfortunately Rotrex is substantially out of budget.
Decided moving forward to fit the ECU and run NA for now, giving me the opportunity of time to decide.
