Plugged it back in to the ctek charger because and ND battery doesn't seem to last more than 3 weeks without dying

engine was sounding a bit loud and rough, checked the oil ... added some (1l) runs nice again I like engines, on behalf of all engines everywhere, I kindly request you check & level the oil more often I have a Peugeot 5008, 2l HDi, 150hp. Way faster than the MX5, about 4 times more torque and doesn't use a drop of oil

Skip to about 25 minutes in…… Watched quite a lot of that, will need to watch the rest. Looking at it, budget and timeframe all point to sticking with the S/C, but I'd be interested to hear your feedback on moving from S/C to T/C? Probably a bit more thinking needed, I'll list the S/C kit and see how quickly that shifts if at all. Supercharger kit sold within a couple hours. Looks like it's turbo time.

Cool scottydugg Do you know which way you're going to go, turbo-wise ? Currently looking into a TD04L-13t setup with a G19 cast mani/downpipe and BOFI intercooler kit. If I can get around 240bhp then that'll be fine for now. Unless something second hand comes up between now and Black Friday deals. Shame to give up on the Supercharger, but decisions made, this seems the best route to go.

I finished up swapping the rear control arms over, which involved lots more grunting, but at least it kept me warm in the cold garage. Managed to shear off one of the captive bolts for the ARB, so will need to get back under there and punch that out. Of course it was the one at the top behind the exhaust backbox so will be the most difficult to get at!
I've also found a reasonable hardtop locally and been round twice to collect it - first time I was shocked to discover it wouldn't fit in my Legacy wagon, and today I went up in the Mazda and discovered I don't have the side latches, and the frankenstein bolts are a pain to swap over. The guy was prepared to take his off, but they're difficult to get at and I didn't really have time to hang around and try taking my non-frankenstein ones off to replace. So I've come away with the side latches to fit, will need to cut some of the plastic panel behind the seatbelt away to bolt them in, then will probably go up there and collect the roof with just the front and side latches done up, while I sort out some frankenstein bolts.
If anyone has some spare ones knocking about and would be willing to send them to me, please send me a PM!

I have just put tax on my Eunos as its been on Sorn for a while.
A local lad died in his Mx5 Recently and there is a run on tonight to celebrate his short life. Mx5 cars local to Plymouth are meeting at Lee Mill for a convoy run then a meet at Halfrauds car park.
My car had a missfire which was down to a broken plug lead, it had been arcing for quite a while from the look of it. I managed to get a lead from local motor factor from something else to get it going for the run. New Magnacor leads and a set of iridium plugs on order. This might explain why the car was down on power at the last tune.

Hi folks, Very good turnout with about 30 Mx5s. Big variety of mods. ITBs sticking out through the bonnet on one. One on steroids with a lift kit for trials. turbos, supercharged, ITBs, silly exhaust with four upwards facing outlets, noisy ones quiet ones.
There were a huge number of other tuner cars including a tailgate not indicate with lots of blue flashing lights I think its the most value of cars ever seen in Halfrauds car park probably over two hundred cars turned out. Even one for Zed a Mk2 rally escort with a mazda duratech lump.
