Today I helped a friend replace his turbo oil feed. His original copper hard line had fatigued at the turbo banjo and split, causing quite a leak. This was a total ballache of a job, because everything is in the way. Got there eventually, just need to check it doesn't leak...

Fitted Green stuff pads all round on the NC and replaced the paper air filter with a K&N one.

Tried yet another not-the-proper-way-to-do-it bodge to get my 'charger connected to my throttle body. There are no bolts to fall in this time, and it seems solid. How long will it hold I wonder?

No it isn't. Put on a rubber glove then you can grip it properly. Just wait till you put it back on when it's oily mmmm slippery

Broke down. Well technically it wouldn't start. Weird. Seems to have a flat battery but it was fine yesterday and all I've changed is fitting the Induction kit. Didn't leave anything on but it's flat as a panckake. Today I fixed it. Battery terminal was loose.

got my turbo oil drain flange back after a lot of waiting. Can now put it all back together again now and try out the depowered steering rack.
Just hope i have not broken anything with clocking the turbo slightly to shorten the intercooler piping now the steering pump is gone.
I also have a completely dead battery to contend with.
first things first though. bolt it all back together.
