What's the latest on the bbq idea? I don't want to bring something down if we end up in a chippie!
Weather looks ok from here (early morning in Harefield).

10 am now and the weather is wet and wild though it seems the wind is blowing the showers away quite quickly. Suggest we decide once we're all here to have a barbie or chippy feast. local Tesco express could be invaded for supplies!! love the Great British summers D

It's a mini adventure Steak stashed, sat nav sorted, mangled glove box back in, cd ready, all set. I won't take beer as it'll be warm by then. So will have to find drinks locally. Now do I risk the long top down run? I may end up looking like Clarkson in USA with a shower over his head

Got here first. Parked in the gravel car park. Stunning drive down! Sunny with just some cloud and bit of wind. Only five minutes of light drizzle and I didn't even feel it. Very changable but lovely when the sun keeps popping out

It was great to see you all today. The drive down was epic with my top down all the way. Then following you all down to the beach was cool too. Mind you the seafront was bloody windy and cold! No wonder half of you vanished into the chippie for so long! I had a great drive back too. Really starting to build more confidence with the car. Unfortunately I only took two phone snaps the entire time. One, while I was waiting for peeps to arrive in the car park, then one at the sea front...
