Thinking of getting one of these as if I leave the car a while the battery drains (I have a clock and maybe there are other gremlins at play). Anyone fitted one? If so, how?

I've been looking into this too. MX5 parts do one but I'd be happier to go with a recommendation

I've seen those. Certainly would do the job. I was more thinking along the lines of what racers use and accessible from the cabin but I might start with the simple solution!

Snap! Mine is connected to the negative (I know, rule breaker or what?), and if you do this, you will need an adapter sleeve as the japanese batteries have different sized terminals.

Most of my batteries are westcos and they fit fine ^ I also use the negative side. it's just simpler and safer imo.

My westco's negative is under the wing... bit awkward but I'll give it a go!

So are mine John.... There's space, I promise. Just pull some of the fluff out.

You must have the hands of a geisha

fingers of the geisha it's a doddle once you get the hang of it. The discarnect thing is only connected when the bolt is in tight, so you just spin it off a few turns and it's broken the circuit. don't even need to remove the bolt.
