Quick question, if I charge the battery and then turn the key it fires il a charm, but anything less than 100% and it won't start. It's a brand new battery, an 075 too.
What do you think? Starter motor fault? Maybe up the battery a little?

I'd check all your earthing points are clean and not corroded first, Then alternator charge, then starter motor. So when the battery is not 100% does it just turn over v slow?

Yeah, check the negative cable where it bolts to the side of the PPF next to the diff. They're inclined to fracture there.

another thought - your alternator is going - and your battery isn't being charged when the engine is running (so getting drained to run the ignition system and lights). When the car is running check the voltage across the points. it should read over 13v. if it's under 13v when running, your alternator is definitely going... - great video explaining it here..
otherwise agreed with the above, check your earthing - use a wire brush or some abrasive on the contacts before reconnecting them.
