After noon gents.
Not been on here for nearly a year !
After much faffing, umming and ahhing I've come to the realisation the 5 means too much to me to sell, coming up to two years ownership it is the longest I've ever had a car in 10 years of driving!
Now the spritely little snc 1600 is still ticking along nicely. Smelling a tad rich but I think that's down to needing a good winter service but I have a plan.....
I bought a '99 mk2 UK 1800 sport last year with the intention of turning it around for some cash but it's sat on my mother's drive ever since !
It's only done 85k with what I believe the torsen dif as standard?
I'm thinking of using the parts from this to give my little beast a new lease of life.
Engine Box Dif/shafts/prop Brakes
Now my question is ( I have done a quick search but I know you helpful chaps will set me square in this thread) what is needed to get this engine running in my 1991 jdm eunos.
I know the engine and box etc will drop straight in but I am unsure regards to the wiring loom and ecu.
Ideally I'm wanting to use the 1800 loom / ecu hence a full swap.
Also interested in using the engine mounts as mine are getting a little tired ?
I have the tanabe exhaust manifold on the car now which has the stud spacing for both the 1600/180₩ engines and my custom exhaust so that should bolt straight up
It should be a little ripper with the 140bhp engine slotted in there and give the old girl plenty more life !! Cheers guys

Hoi :-) You know your diff is living well in my white car. 1800 in a 1600 mk1 chassis ? sounds like a good idea ! Engine and gearbox swap in situ ? will definitely want the 1800 engine loom and ecu.
