So about a month ago I finally dropped off the boat to get its rear end repaired. Fat Fender are a fairly young company based in Croston, Lancashire. their website and facebook are linked below, then the following text is from my review on Facebook:

I cannot recommend Fat Fender enough. I was recommended them by a friend and already knew of Ste's skill from MX5Nutz so was up for trying them out. They were fantastic throughout the process of my first inquiries to when i picked my MX5 up on Saturday (They were more than happy to receive the car and let me pick it up on a weekend). The work for my car was to cut out all the rust in my rear sills and arches then repair a large dent in the driver's side rear arch. Then it required painting 3 different colours due to my Lotus Gold Leaf colour scheme. The prices quoted were very reasonable even when the 230-mile trip each way was factored in. Ste regularly messaged me updates as the work was done - nothing was hidden so if I'd had any issues I could have said during the work. But there was no need as the work was totally spot on. Not only that, but they also gave the whole car the damn good detail it's needed for the last 2 years and tidied up my hardtop too. In fact, the hardtop was put back on so well that there's no wind noise from the windows now. The car was given back to me totally clean inside and out. It was like I was being given a different car. If I could I would have given more than 5 stars. Ste and Gav - you're awesome, keep it up!
