Hybrid electric bolt-on supercharger ?

Clever.

I haven't watched the vid but I know a little about the systems, and it's nice to see someone getting it working.

Trouble is, the power required to run a motor capable of pushing the psi cannot be run from 12v. Some new cars are on the move to 48v at the mo, Audi are 48v on some of the range now already and once the power is there then this may well become more mainstream but to get 48v into a current 12v system will cost more than it's worth.

Aftermarket systems like the above will be novelty value only I reckon, as turbos and regular chargers will get the same result for a lot less cost.
