Happy new year, mighty bunch. I'm sure we've all been making resolutions for 2017, what are your motoring related plans? Mine are: 1. Get the MX5 back on the road with a new diff 2. Track the damn thing 3. Fit a few basic mods to the Stagea (shift kit, FMIC, exhaust) 4. Learn to weld 5. Get bodywork on the 2CV done Not much then...  |

One main resolution, to try to keep at least one 'interesting' car on the road at all times.
After that, finish and sell all the random project cars that are sucking my time and money ... get my track car on the road, get the Amazon on the road and then buy a project 911

A bit like this : Get the time in summer to get the white one on the me221 and diff, when I'm back in blightly. Pay for a recent purchase when I have earned a little more  Something that rhymes with "Sleet Lacing". On ice. Yes. Why not ? Get my slag undersealed rust-proofed by eastern europeans. I recon 3-500 dollars in notes should get it done. |

1. Learn how to weld.
2. Learn how to drive fast properly (booked in at Bedford later this month).
3. Stop spending money on my 5 and just enjoy it.
4. Find a nice Volvo Amazon for my daily (see #1) and sell the unnecessarily fast and expensive Foz (£500 pa VED)
5. Do a long overdue European road trip.
6. Enter as many events in the Bristol Motor Club MX5 challenge as I can afford to (see #2).
7. Stop visiting nutz.

I don't do resolutions as they never last with me, but I am going to make an effort to cut down on the booze ( a bit) and to get out and about with the camera more in 2017. Besides anything with wheels and an engine photography is a passion of mine but I've got lazy with it over the past 12 months.

Funny that, I'm also planning on picking the camera up again more after a year and a bit off.
I'll have a nice motor, might try combining the two!
