Hi guys, names Matt. From the Isle of Wight and currently have two MX5's. A 2002 mk2.5 svt and a 2000 NB mk2 turbo aka Greenie.
Bought Greenie off a mx5nutz member from the island where it was sold as a non runner. Happened to be the ECU so swapped that out for a ME221 and just awaiting to to get it mapped now.
Will post up a project thread as the car will be developed over time with custom aero š

I do like the roads on the isle. Especially the military road to fresh water bay. Lush.

No i'm not an ex serviceman, nickname was given to me or to the car at the time (S14a 200sx) where i was seen drifting the sx along a popular b road and someone we know witnessed my driving antics so he called it the ''Basra 200''. Because "it was like a roadside bomb waiting to go off", name stuck and soon i was called it. |

Is it true that everyone on the island got scared when tesco installed an escalator? I haven't been over there for years, I keep meaning to take my pushbike over for a day and do a nice 4ide pub crawl. But the cost is prohibitively expensive, especially to take the car. That being said it costs 3.50 to cross from Gosport to pompey. |
