So it's coming up renewal time and as usual I'm looking at it thinking I should be able to do better.
So far Greenlight have declined as they won't cover sons and/or daughters - even mature ones with clean licences.
I'm contacting A-Plan but wondered who else might be worth a call given it's s/c and much modified?
Any suggestions gratefully received. Cheers, Pewe

Seems likely I'll be going with APlan. They are offering a Modified Classic policy plus can arrange UK & Continental breakdown up to the cars value. Also Matthew has a good feel for what's required. Only slight drawback is no track-day cover but I've always thought if you can't afford to bin it (not that that's my intention) you shouldn't be tracking it. Cheers, Pewe

Interesting. I'll give them a buzz when mines up for renewal.

The joke being I have two I need to modify with "stickers". I guess the 6uls on the euphonic will be enough.

I'm with Flux, heard all the stories but have only ever dealt with really nice people, and they're about £200 cheaper than anyone else including greenlight and A plan.

Just got renewal quote through for ~£400 - so I guess I quill have to waste some time checking that i am not not getting ripped off by phoning around.
It would be nice to be able to trust an insurance company...
