Probably not finished over Christmas as I'm currently sunning myself in Chicago, but it won't be long after.
That ECU isn't it's final position. It's on a hinged tray so is moved up into the scuttle for normal use. It's there because rice had to access the wiring for a bit to test my lambda sensor out.

I wanted to get the driver's seat in today as it's the one thing I'm struggling with the most at the moment. I'm nearly there but didn't quite manage it before rage quitting. After putting the seat in and taking it out 5 times trying to find why the runner is so tight I finally found the issue. I'd though the runners were off slightly so I filed the holes to enlarge them for a bit of adjustment but I just couldn't get it to be smooth. I torqued everything down and checked the measurements and it all seemed fine, so I thought maybe it just needed a little use. This didn't work but after trying a few times and taking the seat out I saw this: So that was a good clue! It turns out that when I use the lever to unlock the runners the locking parts go lower that the rail and is digging into the floor. I reckon that'd do it! Now I just need to decide whether to get the angle grinder on this bit or put a strip of aluminium underneath the rail to lift it all up. Any opinions?

Spacing wins for me, but then I am shorter than you..

Washers was my first idea but I wasn't sure if that would be too much of a stress point in a crash.

Doesn’t look like the adjuster fouls by much, 3 or 4mm washer should do the trick, perhaps less, give it a try

Ordered some 50mm square washers. Should do it.

The seat is finally in. I've had to file the side of it away slightly more than I'd have liked in order to make it fit but it's there and torqued down. I'm the end I got 50mm penny washers 5mm thick and this has done the trick. You can see here just how tight it is against the tub and frame. After that was done I could move onto the next job. While tightening the nuts under the car I could smell fuel so I thought it would be wise to check around. According to my gauge I've lost around 5 litres in the last 3 months. I found a few issues, none of the major but all contributing to the loss and smell. I'm not sure you can see much on the next pic but the pressurised side of the low pressure fuel pump was weeping. On top of this, all of the swirl pot joints were weeping slightly. I think it was a mix of the clips not being tight enough and also not being tightened on the barbed part of the pipe. I've moved all the clips back slightly and tightened them. So far there's no weeping but time will tell.

Unfortunately the fuel leak didn't go. I will ended up having to replace hoses going to my swirl pot. These are advised as having 10mm barbs but I've put 9.5mm hose on them to make a better seal and it seems to have worked.

As far as I'm aware I just have to fit the bonnet and bonnet latches, bolt the cycle wings on and paint the cycle wing brackets.
Followed by loads and loads of double checks and worrying.
