At the minute my mx5 has the teif tech coilovers, their ok for the money you can go low and look cool but apart from that compairing the ride quality and handiling to a friends hsds iv been transformed, id say up £500 idealy, whats my best shot iv done some reserch and the ushal

Hsd
Gaz
Etc......
Anyone have any good advice on what to go for even seen the max speeding rods coilovers are ok for the money but im looking for reliability, good customer aftercare, bang for buck ?
Also on a side note anyone had any thoughts with the raceland ultimo coilovers with adjustible dampening ?

I had te Gaz Classics from MX5parts before my current set up.
Certainly couldn't complain about them as far as road use went. Reasonably comfortable. Handle well.
Didn't give much scope for lowering but that's never really been my bag. And I got them at a good price when they were doing a 10% off.
Main issues were plated steel bodys. I coated mine in marine white grease to stop them corroding. But that's not really ideal.
Damper adjustment was at the bottom of the shock. So had to lay on the ground to adjust.
Bit to soft for the track.

I have meisters on interest free for a year about 65 a month. Would never look back I'm about 12 clicks off hardest on front and it's not too crashy or unbearable it's not even uncomfortable and some of the roads around here are awful. They're fantastic kit, great road and track and fully adjustable height too. Mine has to come up soon because of my new wheels but it's basically on the deck and still comfortable!
