Odd question I know but has anyone ever removed a hood and dry stored it? I'm going to run a hard top for a considerable time and I'm worried the hood will crack or split if I leave it folded on the car. Thanks

it'll be fine folder on the car, assuming it wasn't torn already. You'd want to remove it mainly for weightsaving :-)

True! I might do it for that alone. I'd presume it's a twat to re-fit though if I needed to?

there's guides on how to do the rain rails - not done it myself, it is said to be a two-man job.

A doable one man job, easier with two having done it a couple of times now. Just set aside a day for the whole thing, take your time and be patient as the rain rail can sometimes be a bit of a twat when it wants to.

Thank you. A job to leave until the summer!

I've done the roof alone and with a friend multiple times. The first time is the worst - once you know how it all fits together it isn't bad at all. Make sure you have a range of extension bars for a ratchet - you have to reach in some awkward places to do the rain rail!
