Took the car out on Sunday after waterplug times the day before, did 102km's on 1/4 tank of fuel, used no coolant and was a pleasure

Yo dawgs! Yesss! Can't wait to get these on, hopefully that's a job for this coming Saturday, hopefully it's not the biggest ball ache ever to fit them. Have heard the fronts are harder than the rears. One last shot at 4x4 height with buddy's mk4 Recaro lurking. In the mean time, spot the difference... Can't decide if nice or rice. As they were a gift I'll run them for now. Desperately need some Eunos mats, these MX5 ones are making me queasy. Hopefully excitement this weekend, until then, enjoy this 30 degree sun āļø Thanks for reading šš¾

Super good update fun weekend time! Got the Meister's on and JEEEZUSSSSSS they are amazing. I was fully expecting the ride to be ruined but if anything the ride is better than the stock shocks. Loads less crashy and really feels glued to the floor now. Having only experienced my friend's Eunos with HSD Dualtech's which was pretty much spine shatteringly harsh, this is laughably compliant. So anyway, used the long bolt method and got them on in an afternoon, joy! No bolts were solid, all behaved well. Another friend has just bought the same and managed to fit them before I did, he said out of the box they have a reasonable height, still at least a shoe gap from wheel to arch. I took this into account and copper greased the threads then wound the fronts down to 5cm collar to collar (box is 8.5cm collar to collar) and the rears down from 3.5cm collar to collar to 2.5cm. To my shock they fronts were hilariously low, would be awful at this height so wound them back up. Front collar is now at 7cm and the rear I wound a bit lower to 2cm. Unsure if it's too low and looks weird or is ok. Will be getting fresh tyres for the Compomotives this weekend so get those on, adjust as necessary and then get an alignment done. That's how it currently sits, still can't get over the quality of the ride. ALSO ditched the manky leather drivers seat for a foamectomie'd stock cloth seat which feels a billion dollars . Wheel and tyres on in the next update. TLDR: Meister's on, unsusre if too low/wheels too sunk or nah. New seat in.

Lush. What wheels are those ? I think Fondmetal but I'm not sure now. Thanks so much, I'm so hyped! I can't tell if it needs a little more winding down on the coilovers though. They have Compomotive on the front and CX14 on the backs so I'm guessing that's the model and not just the sizes of them. Next up, I have a 1.8 seatbelt brace bar thing to go in, I think I have a sticky rear caliper so that will get checked this weekend but I CAN'T STOP DRIVING THE CAR IT'S THE MOST FUN THING EVARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. WEEE!
