Total quartz 7000 10/40 is what I use in my Citroen, it is the recommended oil for use with a diesel with the dreaded DPF, it’s supposedly a “low ash” oil, I buy it off amazon for around £22 for 5 Ltrs, never thought of using it in the Mazda, that gets Halfords 10/40 semi synthetic....

Also wear ratings that are in the .10s are still good oils.
My only issue with the results is that they're not taking averages - I'd want to do the test 10 times and then take the average result.
I don't have complete faith in the method, but that doesn't make the results any less interesting.

Someone's come up with a better 2 stroke piston design - 2 part to piston to avoid wristpin holes and make a more uniform piston. Interesting idea.

That is crazy, although seeing pictures of the place post-war, I'm not surprised - loads of areas stayed destroyed for years because there was no money to (re)build anything! Thanks for the link! |

If you zoom in you can see the bomb tracks themselves - one bomber dropping 6 bombs, 1 every second or so , especially if you look outside the city centre...
