Just a vaguely car-related and very random story which tickled me: Cyber security guy called Droogie has a wheeze: what if he registered "NULL" as a vanity licence plate? Would this mean his car, though visible to California's ANPR cameras, be "invisible" to the computer processing the issuing of speeding fines, because it would interpret the plate as a failure-to-read and discard it? Definitely worth a try. So he registers the plate with the DMV. And immediately got $12,000 in speeding tickets because every failed to read plate got registered as a NULL on the system and that's his plate. www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2019/08/14/hacker-gets-12000-in-parking-tickets-after-null-license-plate-trick-backfires/#55820accc314LOL Isn't there a law of unintended consequences?

Reality is more ironic than fiction!

DIY aircon.. interesting! I was more impressed with the previous installment, but it seems the design is developing and looks very interesting. His guide on the cheap speakers is very good. I've attached two exciters to the cupboard doors that my TV stands on and the results are excellent
