After reading for so many months (here and at nutz), I'd like to share something.
My 5 is still at my friends workshop, waiting for the last welds to be made and getting some new paint.
I was looking for parts in the meantime and couldn't decide how to change the gearbox and diff ratio.
It seems I will take my 6-speed and 4.1 rear end.
I've seen so many gearing calculators and some graphs, but only once somebody had a cool sawtooth graph.
That' what I wanted to play with! After some fiddling this is the result:
It uses some VBA-Code to get a little "automation" and switch from imperial units to metrics and make the graphs to display selectable.
It's not perfect for sure, but maybe some help ...
