What's your favourite and cheapest place to buy tyres mine is Tyre Traders as they appear to be the cheapest for rainsport3s which are my preferred choice on the road

Around Reading I'll be looking on-line at MOTest and F1Autocentres for Michelin Pilot Sport3 (or are they now onto 4's?). The Michelin's have proved to be fantastic all-round tyres, particularly in the wet - we did a rain sodden track day down at Combe last July and their grip levels were amazing. HTH. Cheers, Pewe.

NickD from Mazda on Track, he actually knows about the tyres he sells and doesn't take money for things he doesn't have in stock unlike most of the online guys.

I bought four T1Rs from the demontweeks outlet on eBay. They were about £130 shipped.

Tyre leader is also just a bucket shop, they don't actually own or hold any of the product they sell. They just list stock from various European warehouses and pass the order on.

I think a few people have been caught out by that with them and other online companies. Order the tyres and then a week later find out they are out of stock and none are expected for a month. By which time it's too late to get any tyres sorted for the track day you have booked. Russell

I shall be phoning MOT when I get my rebate in to sort some shiny wheels and get a bit of tyre advice to step up from my RS-Rs.

This is an anti-recommendation - never ever buy any tyres from Delti / Delticom AG / aka MyTyres in the uk - my last experience with them was a total prarrie canoeshow.
