Even second hand, mine transformed the feel over standard shocks plus apex springs

They'll make s huge difference. Make sure you check the preload is set correctly, as mine needed adjusting before fitting (rears were out) and it's a common issue. For settings, have a look at Flyin' Miatas website: www.flyinmiata.com/tech/alignment.php

These are off a mk2 so I suspect the preload may need adjusting I've fitted the rears and height looks about right - 31cm I am assuming I will require a little less preload on a mk1 than mk2??

Go ask Jerrick on the MeisterR website - he's always very helpful though may comment on the springs being chopped down. Mine on GT1's with alignment from Wheel Alignment Centre handles like dream - pity about the driver. One of the best feelings ever was getting it in the groove around Combe at the last trackday. It really felt like it was up on tip-toes through the corners - just brilliant!! Cheers, Pewe.

Got the meisters on Very nice, much more comfy on the softish setting than my old units Can’t wait to try em on track!!! I am about 20mm lower but not slammed! I encounter many speed bumps I can see why people love em do much!
