Yep. This engine would probably make the same result on the standard injectors as long as they were clean. Thanks for the education With results so good it kind of makes a mockery of cams etc! The spray pattern could've also been better with the new injectors over standard, I don't know how much affect that would really have on total power output though.

That’s ridiculously strong for a 1.6, I bet it’s had some work done on it by a previous owner. If so, lucky! It’ll be epic with a turbo. No previous work on the paperwork folder I have. It’s always been well kept and repaired, that’s what service books show. Previous owner had it for years and years and barely drove it, but always serviced it. With cams, throttle bodies and some head work this engine would be an animal!

AEM Wideband 30-0300. Not sure what DC the injectors are running but there’s is a LOT of headspace even in 2 sheen when it’ll be pushing 250/260hp with the turbo. you Mr Morales, is gonna cost me money going for that power ........you know the competitive dad in me is gonna roll me all the way to Skuzzle's with a few dollars in hand for a remap Current power good mate and as an advisory i would put off getting the boost fitted till after Donny, you dont want teething troubles on the day. Wise to get a few miles under the belt in normal circumstances instead of bedding in on a track day, then you can whip my rear canoe, not literally you understand, at Bedford in March

The previous owners were well into their seventies and had the car for about 10 yrs. As said, they serviced it and MoT'd it religiously despite averaging about 3000 miles a year. i suspect if anything was done it would have been back in Japan but i think its just been a well cared for motor. i have reminded Andres that had i the experience in the buying and selling then as i do now he would have paid a fair chunk more for it

Mind you my credit card feels very light right now, after all the recent bits and bobs! History folder is about 100 pages thick now, may have to get a binder hahaha
