I’ve just realised I’ve got more car bits dotted about my house, garage, shed, parents house than on my car. BCR coilovers, Tailgate McNoIndicate BBS wheels, GCF roll bar, GCF fire extinguisher mount, strut brace, door cards on the way, a bootlid, bumper, brake stopper and a bucket seat on the way. Along with a load of other bits and bobs. The best bit is that I’ve got NO time to fit any of it! Does anyone else have the same problem?!

I went through this last year but with added turbo kit... Then bought a house which needed full renovation.
Was torture not being able to get to fit anything, worth it once its all fitted though!

Same, but I've set myself a target for the start of April, car needs done and on the road for a road trip. Soon as accommodation is booked the pressure will be on!
Replacement Roof, CF Headlight Cover, Headlight Units, Replacement callipers and pads, water-pump, timing belt, new wheels, zoom filler cap.

Not fun. But definitely feels better.

Yep got that problem. A car and shed full of parts and no time to fit any of them. Spent a precious 120 mins fitting replacement headlights to the family wagon yesterday day time only for them to be worse than the ones I took off so that was a total waste of time.

Same with Datsun parts right now - steering rack bushings, seat, air filter, new fuel line fittings, stuff for an oil change, replacement dashboard, new stereo, heater matrix...
I keep justifying it as 1) it's cold as Canoe and I'm not working in an unheated storage unit when it's 20 below and 2) there's a load of jobs that make more sense to tackle in one weekend. If I'm doing the steering rack bushes, may as well also do the motor mounts, as I have to raise the engine a bit. If I'm doing the dashboard, may as well do the stereo and heater matrix as I'll have better access.

My list of things to do to the Stagea is longer than the car itself. Eek. I know this problem all too well...

I seem to have somewhat an opposite issue. I've got a massive list of modifications etc. I want to do, but no parts for said mods. In no particular order: * Re-trim steering wheel, handbrake & shift gaiters * Seat covers to match * Sort key-scratch, bumper scuff, & minor dent(s) on body * Remove, polish & re-lacquer headlights * Possibly replace dampers * MORE POWER!!! All that plus service, thermostat, oil, & pads (whic I do have parts for)

I pulled a coil pack from the loft the other day. It made my other halfs mx5 work again. I have many parts in the loft. The shed. The garden. Etc.
