Dropped the SC at Powerhouse in Chesterfield & spoke to Dave at Salon. THe SC will be done in a week to 10 days whilst the outlet manifold should be in stock in about a week.
With everything crossed it all should come back together giving me enough time to test before the next Goodwood sprint.... Gutted at having to pull out of the double header at Blyton this coming weekend.

Bought another M45 to finish the season.. Dave at Powerhouse showed me on my original SC where the rotors had been in contact with the casing & also each other. I’m going to salvage the pulley & refurbished snout bearings. Then fit the Salon outlet pipe & hopefully all will be good again.

It’s an EFR6258 but haven’t decided on a manifold yet and am going to have to forge the internals too plus an oil pump. Going to do it myself over the winter. Hopefully it’ll be about 300hp.

Hmmm, plans on hold till I get another job....
On a positive note, the SC is now done by the guys at Powerhouse & I gave them the Mini PTO bit off the back in return for some of the labour.
Just waiting for the Salon SC outlet now.
edit- BOFI have been absolutely brilliant & have cancelled my order at my request. I shall 100% order from them in the future, when I get another job.

Finally the Salon outlet arrived to replace the melted 3D printed one from Skuzzle. Despite being substantially taller, I managed to get it to fit under the bonnet by cutting off some of the reinforcement structure. Then had to muck about with silicon reducers as the pipe didn’t match the previous instal. No matter, the important thing is that it’s in & I have an outside chance to win the Classic Marques Championship.

So, there was this tiny little bubble on one of the sills.... never poke a rust-bubble.............. always ends in tears/welding & further dissappointment it'll be worth the work (hopefully) ps. nice previous filler work & upside-down photo Rich.
