Just looking to get things together for a service and am wondering about HT leads...
My current ones are about 18 months old and were from DoctorMX5: mighty5s.com/post/12295/thread
Should I replace them?
Which diameters do we need for N/A and Forced Induction?
Which ones are the best quality?? (I've seen various ones for sale from Doctor MX5, ebay (Jackson Racing ones and 'Genuine Lucas' ones), Autolink, MX5Parts...)
I've had no issues with the DoctorMX5 ones but, you know, if there are better ones...
Ta muchly!!

At 18 months old keep them. They last years not months.

Yep, can't fault the Jackson racing ones.

The JR ones are 8mm as well I think. Not sure I've ever seen anything chunkier for the MX5.

Thanks all!
I think I'll leave them for the moment, even if new ones are only about £11.30 from Autolink lol

Magnecor every time. I use the 8.5mm leads, bomb proof!

FWIW I did change my leads the other week for the 8mm or 8.5mm ones from autolink (listed as 11.30+VAT IIRC) and it has helped my misfire issue, although it seems to be something much more expensive and valve-related might be the underlying issue... lol

Always ran the JR leads in my mk1/2s. Work well and look ace.

I have cobalt on mine and they work just fine, I'd rather have COPs but it's money I don't need to spend so probably won't.
