Have you checked the earthing point? It seems that when they aren't right, all sorts of weird stuff can happen!
Other than that, I'm a bit stuck... lol
Are the lights all operated by a relay box? If so, could it be worth swapping another one in to check if's not that?

That'll be my job this weekend provided the weather sticks. I've tried to find out about relays but haven't had much luck, people seem to have issues with lights but not the same as what I'm experiencing.

I've got off my rear canoe and done the 1Mohm resistor mod on a spare flasher relay I had.. if anyone needs one :-)

I've binned off my LED indicators for now and got some orange bulbs instead, I may well give you a shout in the future though |

With apologies for being annoying  I was wondering if you'd be able to detail the gasket you used for the panel?
I understood that they don't have one and are leaky as anything unless one bodges a silicon or similar one!
