Hi guys and girls! Had my mk3 2.0 sport for about a month now.. I had the tracking done on the car as it was all over the place and now for general town driving it feels fine.. However yesterday I put my foot down on an a road and it pulls to the left under hard acceleration. Tyre pressures are all good and tracking has been sorted so I can rule out silly problems like that. Also had a new n/s front caliper. I've checked the temperature of the discs and none of them feel hotter than the others so I don't think there's any binding.. just wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Did the road have quite a pronounced camber / crown? That can have quite an effect depending on the alignment setup, IIRC.

This is almost certainly completely normal due to left-hand road camber.
The faster you go the more the camber effect. Our cars being low and racekor do feel this effect more than fat mondeos etc.
If it isn't pulling to one side or another under braking, I think you're fine WRGT brake binding.
What actually makes it more pronounced for me is if you go on a canoe road with some potholes, it'll always feel the camber more on the transition through the pothole.
In general all my cars want to come off the road leftwards .. if I don't turn the wheel. The camber is kind of by design to clear rain water and also, the theory goes.. so that if people lose control (fall asleep?) they come off to the left instead of into oncoming traffic.
