Car past MOT the other day, and warning was both rear tyres close to limit. So replaced the rear Hankook with new Uniroyal RainSport 3.
Ops car Mk3 bose. Even if I'm driving like the slowest Sunday driver round a roundabout the DSC light going crazy? Even on a motorway the end just feel wired, could be me worrying. Not looked at tyre pressure yet and only about 40 miles done. I thinking maybe as front tyres worn and new tyres rear could this upset the DSC?
Both tyres seem to be on the right way, as on both sides tyres say out side. Anyway I will check tyre pressure tomorrow, I know sometimes put to much air in to get the seal.

Release compound needs to be worn off, plus pressures are probably high.

Check your tyre pressures, garages just blow them up, I bet they are over inflated

In Rainsports mine only comes on if I drive like a bit of a knob.

all the above advice - check pressures cold, give it a little burnout to get rid of the protector wax.

Well tyre pressure was a bit mad 36psi rear one front 36 the other 41! DSC light bit better at staying off now all at 29, but still the rear end with them rain sports on feels like there melting. Hit the hard shoulder rumble line yesterday, coming off it I was almost sea sick. It just felt that I had two rear flat tyres? Going to swap things around today and place the rain sports on the front, fingers crossed that helps.

I have read posts that say the rainsports have soft sidewalls, so it may be that is what you are feeling.
You might need to experiment with pressures, to try and increase sidewall stiffness without making them like round doughnuts at 36PSI... lol

even 29psi is a bit too much pressure for a mk1/mk2. try get it to 26 or 27psi.

With a depowered rack, I am wondering if that is too low??
I run 31 all round and it has good turn-in bite without any 'slop'/delay, and is not tremendously heavy - I'm really not sure I'd like any lower! lol
Perhaps I should experiment...
