So after being vehemently anti diesel I’ve just gone and bought an old Mongy ST TDci estate
It is Mahoosive, well looked after and cheap
Do me for a while (6 months is my current standard)
Jag has got to go now though😧

I miss my canoe of a 2.0 TDI golf, it was fair broken but it still had some shift in it when you stepped on the coal pedal.
The 1.0 petrol polo that's replaced it is an embarrassment of far greater proportion, and had I been aware it only had three cylinders, I possibly wouldn't have bought it.

My four banger derv Mini is prettt good to be honest. Handles well, it’s comfy to drive long distance and it averages 55mpg plus.
Girls also dig it.

This is exactly it, wife has a fezza and I have basically 2 toys the Jag and the 5. Whilst the Jag is roomy it's only a saloon, which means we are often trying to use the little Fez as a van!! the Jag is lovely but averages 18mpg! So for hols and long family drives we squeeze into the Fez, with 2 teenage lads that's not much fun with luggage etc. We could take some of our furniture with us in the Mongy. pick it up Monday and will report |
