Hi all.
A quick question regarding brake stoppers (as Jass Performance and DaveFab sell)...
Are they any good!? I have a MK1, and the pedal feel is ok, but I have driven a MK2.5 briefly and that was much more positive.
Are stoppers worth the expenditure, or a bit snake oil?
Any feedback appreciated.

Stoppers are good. I made my own, but they make a difference

Not snake oil, they do make a noticeable and useful difference along with braided lines.

less flex, more solid braking feel.. can't argue against that. Whenever you're interacting with something that flexes under load you're going to miss some feedback you should have.

I don’t have a strut brace, so have a bit of fabricating to do

Cheers for the feedback. It sounded like a useful addition, though I'll wait until the new engine is in just in case that messed up clearance etc.
Same goes for a strut brace. I fancy adding one, but need to see if it clears the V6.

I just have the towers fitted currently....Thanks to having a mk2 engine the inlet manifold is taller than the mk1 one was so it fouls the bottom of the strut brace for all the fun vibrations

Got the DaveFab version and I do like the more solid brake feel, but fitting was a bit of a PITA. Is that just me?
I suppose I should just have started by removing everything around it but it looked like it would just slip into place. Unfortunately due to all the inconvenient brake lines and other clutter in the area there isn't much chance to get hands in there. When the bolt hole into the inner wing didn't quite line up, it just needed a little bit of persuasion, but how to lever something when there's nothing to brace against...
