I'm after a set of 6UL wheels, ideally 15 x 8 or 15 x 9. Perfection would be Gen 2 or 3 in Matt Bronze, but anything dark / subtle considered. I'm in the West Midlands but would travel for the right wheels

Are you still looking? i was talking to a guy on Facebook yesterday with a set of 15x8 in bronze. Weirdly only three with tyres but another brand new in the box. He was after 650 but will definitely take offers. He's midlands based too! Let me know if you want me to ping you details by PM

I'm after the old style Matt Bronze which are a lot darker and less shiny! Russell

Not worth getting them and getting powder coated? You've been looking a while already.

You can't (easily) re-powdercoat 6ULs due to the way they are made - the curing process for the powdercoating will wreck the metallurgy of the wheels and remove all their strength...

it's cool just one of those things about the 6uls. They're still awesome wheels, just can't be hot powdercoated.

Cheers for the help / ideas, but I'm after 15 x 9 ideally and those are 15 x 8. If they were the right colour I'd have them but at £650 for wheels, then £200 for paint and I may as well buy new 15 x 9s in a dark / subtle colour I can live with

Just had a free shipping email from 949 - incl international if that’s any help.
So if you pay lets say $700 + 20% vat it works out at $840 which equates roughly to 475GBP?
EDIT- Sorry I was working in Ozzie dollars, thought it was too cheap. Still, 660GBP shipped isn’t the end of the world...

Not free for international:
Free shipping on wheels for contiguous US Discounted or value based shipping for all other locations
Might be worth a check tho...

Found a set of 8s, not ideal but they were cheap and a dark colour so I can't complain!
949 racing won't ship their wheels outside the US, they have distributors in this country and won't undersell them
