Found it!
My V5 and a HPI search shows the chassis as NAGCE, but changing it to NA6CE and it comes up straight away.
Birthday celebrations booked for the 10th September, jelly and icecream all round!!!!!

On the basis of the numbers being sequential and that table earlier has the first chassis number, its interesting to see that mine was number 3067 off the production line, in the first month of production too.
I'm up for a birthday bash, id imagine there are a fair few cars celebrating in sept but whether they are on here or not I don't know. Any more 1989 cars?
You can all come to mine for a sleepover. You can tell your parents that my parents will be there (but they wont be! )

I’m home for a week and just got number. it’s my s-ltd’s 26th birthday by chance on Wednesday next week!
My Rs-ltd is 25 on 3rd August this year !

Woo, finally checked this out - I thought mine was an 89 or early 90 car but it's actually July 1990! Better hold off the birthday celebration planning for another year lol
