The covered option is clearly more practical. Although a little more knob like. Shame it's not a Tailgate McNoIndicate

Atlex you've accidentally posted in the wrong forum. Awks New bumper arrived in the world's largest box. Looks like a cardboard monolith from 2001.

For lift to be created the distance travelled over the top surface must be longer than that travelled for the bottom surface, generally.
With a couple of mm thick curved panel I don't think this would apply.

Final checklist of odd jobs for the guys to finish...
Sump arrival and fitment.
Fit hood gas rams.
Fill small hole near flywheel with a plate.
Have laser alignment done to previous specs.
Fit the quieter muffler.
Slam panel needs to be made to force air into radiator. Although I may do this myself in the spring, along with the body mods such as: hood, ducktail.

Russell I think V6 has one he's custom-worked waiting patiently in the garage! lol Do we know if the ducktail spoilers create more downforce at the back? And therefore a lighter front end at high speed unless a front splitter or similar is added to reduce airflow / pressure under the car??

So... Car is 99.99% done. To do: Swap OEM metal manifold gaskets back on instead of aftermarket ones. Think the wheel alignment is happening today All else done! Second tune was done too.

Speaking to insurance companies now...
Reis Motorsport need a locked garage. Brentacre are very friendly and helpful. So... we will see...
May come down to whoever can give me the best agreed valuation, rather than the cheapest quote.

BUT agree with what you say about best cover - you need to read & discuss the small-print for the cover unfortunately, accidents do happen Rich.
