I wonder how long it will stay at that level of increased performance
After the recommended oil service interval, i will guess all the crap that will end up in the oil might blunt thise gains a little

Slick 50 promised a similar thing back in the eighties, filling the roughness with teflon particles. I put it in my Gsx 750 I had to turn the tickover down it jumped about 200 rpm and I gained 2mpg more and the bike felt revvier.

+44lb/ft on the Focus ST? That's crazy. I'm not super-keen on all this nano-tech, though - all it means is more nanoparticles floating about in the environment, very probably poisoning us slowly over time because there's no way to stop them entering one's body due to their size

Nanoparticles are fairly ok
Eutrophication is not a huge issue for a few decades yet

The lack of research on nanoparticle impacts on the environment annoys me. I'm no tree-hugger but it's just one more thing we're doing to Canoe up the only place to live that we have!
