the "5" had this chrome style bar on when i bought it , it looked ok , but i dropped on a TT style TRlane roll bar at a bargain price...  money was paid, courier arranged , sorted..  fitted it on my own , bit of a struggle, be better with helping hand...especially with my poor back..  again ,,,,,,,,,,,, i like it.  |

the rubber strip/seal on the windscreen cowl was something else that bugged me,it was curling up at the ends, pulling away from the plastic part... a lot of mx5'5 are the same..
so i stripped it and fitted a new seal..( sorry cant find pics )
bought from mazda dealer for around £15..........mx5parts wanted £76ish, cos you had to buy the complete cowl

a set of watanabes complete with tyres and centre caps was the next purchase..  /  [/URL they were in decent condition, but for the price i paid , i decided to treat them to full refurb.  came back like this............  well chuffed..  |

aahhhh , too late atlex , decided to paint the calipers red to match the caps.............and fitted them.  plus clear side reflectors  front and rear..  looking the part now....  |

How do you rate the coliovers? Just been looking at them. They seem to be in between TAs and then HSDs price wise.

The Wats look really good, even better with the lowered ride height.

thanks guys , coilovers are great for money , only issue as previously stated , is rears are at lowest setting and should, in my opinion go 20mm lower .
the ride is good , less creaks ,knocks n groans.
