Hi all,
I've got an old TD04 turbo sitting in my shed, that was removed from my old Subaru WRX wagon when I swapped it for the bigger VF35. First question, would it fit on my 1.6 Eunos?
If so, would it need modification or could it be the basis of a turbo build? Not sure if there is a stock list of things that are needed to add a TD04 to the 1.6 but would appreciate any simple pointers. Just musing for now, and probably would need quite a few brave pills to do the work myself, but would be good to know what I would need to invest and what the potential gains might be.

It will need to be clocked but that's it, and the G19 Evo2 mani (as sold by MTECH) is a good one, just avoid their ECU lol.
Performance unforged early 1.6 engine with 40K KMs, 99ron, 220HP @atw, 97ron 207HP @atw. this is at around 10PSI controlled boost. I think the standard spring in the actuator is set for 7psi. It's a very efficient small turbo so the lag is minimal and it boosts well to 7K
The TDO4-13T is extremely very well matched to unforged the B6 or BP engines. It has attributes that can match even the newest options from Garrett but it is definitely ecliped by the bugwanna (borgwarner) offerings, but to get the most out of those you really have to open the engine up.

I’m just finishing a DIY TD04-13T build on my mk2.5. G19 manifold etc. Didn’t buy a kit as already had a few bits on the car from the SC. Have a look at BlackCat Motorsport or Bofi. If you feel like you need a refurb/more ooomph, these guys look good value- www.fastlineturbo.co.uk/

Interesting fact- the McLaren 570 uses twin TD04s.

What does the 'clocking' bit mean? My turbo had done 110K miles on my Subaru so would probably want to get it serviced/reconditioned, can it be clocked at the same time?

Clocking is the process of turning the non-moving parts so that the outlet points in a sensible direction, oil lines, water lines, etc.typically you don't want an oil feed from the bottom and a return at the top etc Love this chap's lovely lilt.
