Is there anyone out there that can fit in their 5 comfortably with a helmet on? Even in my old MK3 with seat lowering brackets I wasn't able to put the roof up. This typically means that my track days are cut short when it starts to rain...not ideal when living in Wales!

this is one of the reasons people fit lower seats or thin rails, or do the foamectomies. think elise seats - they're _very_ thin.

Get lower rails and a sunken seat base like some of the tillets, you'll have loads of room.

I lowered the floor in mine, might seem a bit much but honestly all the other options just don't seem to do anywhere near enough. I just wanted to be as far away from the floor as possible in the event of a crash

With the soft top on, I fit fine in my standard Mk1 seats with a helmet on. With the hard top on it's a bit snug but I'm not banging my head all the time. Sometimes it pays to be vertically challenged!
