Hello,
I am going to go for 16x8 wheels (et35 min) so I can use Conti PC6 tyres with a little stretch in a 205/45/16.
I currently have 15x7 Oz Superlegeras which are featherweight (4kg per corner without the tyre IIRC)
Is there a 16x8 rim that is less than 7kg that costs less than £1k for a set of 4
Most of the options are fearsomely expensive.
Team dynamics pro 1.2 ;looks like a reasonable compromise
or a second hand set of rota cups
what does the hive mind think ?

those Konigs are spendy !
If there were better tyre options at 15in I would try to stick it out but the PC6s seem to have better grip. I cannot run list 1b due to regs and the decent list 1a tyres (PS4, PS4s, conti SC7 ) all start at 17 or 18.
I know my requirement is niche the 16in PC6 seem like a good compromise.
the only downside I can think of is a bit more unsprung weight (4-6kg in total) and steering feel

Yeah there's a lack of 1A UHP tyres for 15" now. Sucks a bit.

Why not just buy some cheap Mazda wheels, to see if the the advantage is real for pc6?
nb, I do suspect the advantage over ps3's is real, by the way!

My Team Dynamics are pretty heavy, the Rota s are much lighter.

I had some mazda 16in wheel when I bought the car they were indeed very heavy. The rota choice is sliptream or grid , I think the ET needs to be 34 or higher
